A page in a chat isn't a website yet

ChatGPT can write a full landing page, a quiz or a small web app in one reply, but it can't give you a website to send people to. A shared chat link shares the conversation, not a standalone site. Tiiny Host fills that gap. Save ChatGPT's code as index.html, or ask it for a zip of the whole project, and drag it onto Tiiny Host. There's no server to rent, no git and no hosting dashboard to learn: the upload is the whole job.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I host code generated by ChatGPT?

Save the code as a file and upload it to a web host. Copy the HTML from ChatGPT's code block into a text editor, save it as index.html, then drag it onto Tiiny Host, pick a link name and click launch. If the project has several files, ask ChatGPT to "package the site as a downloadable zip with index.html at the top level" and upload the zip instead.

Where did ChatGPT canvas go?

OpenAI removed canvas from its latest models in May 2026, and code now appears in code blocks inside the chat. You copy it the same way. Nothing changes on the hosting side: save the code as index.html, or as a zip if there are several files, and upload it.

Can ChatGPT give me the files as a zip?

Usually, yes. Ask it to create the files and package them as a downloadable zip, and it will build the zip with its code tools and give you a download link. Before you upload, check that index.html sits at the top level of the zip rather than inside another folder.

ChatGPT gave me a React component. Can I host that?

Not as it is. A React component (JSX) isn't a web page on its own; it needs to be compiled first. The quickest fix is to ask ChatGPT for "a single index.html that loads React and Babel from a CDN and renders this component". Upload that file and it will run in any browser.

What kind of ChatGPT code can Tiiny Host run?

Anything that runs in the browser: HTML, CSS and JavaScript, including libraries loaded from a CDN. That covers landing pages, games, calculators and most single-page apps. Code that needs a server, such as Python scripts, a Node.js back end or a database, won't run on static hosting. PHP files are the exception: paid plans can host them, as long as they don't need a database.

My page works on my computer but not online. What's wrong?

Three things cause most problems. The main file must be called index.html. In a zip, index.html has to be at the top level. And file names are case-sensitive online, so Logo.png and logo.png are different files. If the page loads without its styling, check that the paths to your CSS and JavaScript match the folder structure you uploaded.

Is it safe to put an OpenAI API key in my page?

No. Anything in a web page can be read by anyone who opens it, so an API key in your HTML or JavaScript is public. If ChatGPT wrote a page that calls the OpenAI API straight from the browser, remove the key before you publish. Features that need a secret key need a server to keep it hidden.

What does it cost to host ChatGPT code?

Nothing for a single page. The free plan hosts one site up to 3 MB with 5,000 visits a month and shows a small Tiiny Host banner. From $5 a month (billed yearly) the banner goes and you get analytics and QR codes; Solo adds your own domain, password protection and the browser editors.

Can I change the page after publishing?

Yes. Upload a new version to update the same link, or on Solo and above make quick changes in the browser with the code or visual editor. Anyone with the link sees the new version next time they open it.
