Where Cursor projects go live

Cursor is where you write the code, with an agent that can build whole features for you. It isn't a host, so every project eventually hits the same question: where does this go live? Tiiny Host is the shortest answer. Drag your build folder onto Tiiny Host, or add our MCP server from Cursor's MCP directory and ask the agent to publish. The link keeps working after you close your laptop, which a localhost tunnel can't promise.

Where Cursor projects go live

Host your Cursor project in 3 steps

1. Drop in your build

1. Drop in your build

Run npm run build in Cursor's terminal, zip the output folder so index.html is at the top level, and drag it onto Tiiny Host.

2. Name your link

2. Name your link

Use the project name, or connect a domain if this one's here to stay.

3. Click launch

3. Click launch

Your project is live. Next time, skip all three steps and ask Cursor's agent to publish it.

Features

From editor to URL, minus the setup

🧭 In Cursor's MCP directory

Search for Tiiny Host in Cursor's MCP directory and add it in a couple of clicks.

🤖 Agent publishing

Ask Cursor's agent to publish the build and it replies with the live link.

📦 Any static build

React, Vue, Svelte, Astro, Angular, plain HTML or a static Next.js export.

🔄 Same link, every update

Republish over the existing site and the URL stays exactly the same.

🔒 Password protect

Share side projects and client work privately until you're ready to launch (Solo and above).

💬 Feedback mode

From the Tiny plan, reviewers pin comments on the live page with no GitHub or Cursor account.

Compared

Sharing localhost vs a hosted link

Screen shares and tunnels to npm run dev work for a quick look. When someone needs to open your project on their own time, a hosted link is easier on everyone.

Check the size of the build folder, not the project: node_modules never gets uploaded. A built front end is usually a few hundred KB to a few MB, so small projects fit the free plan and most others fit Tiny or Solo.

Agent friendly

Let Cursor's agent publish for you

Add Tiiny Host from Cursor's MCP directory, or add a server with the URL https://mcp.tiiny.host in Cursor's MCP settings, and the agent can publish and update your sites. For CI or scripts, one POST to the upload endpoint returns a live link.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Cursor have hosting?

No. Cursor is a code editor with an AI agent built in. It writes and runs code on your computer, but it doesn't put sites on the internet. To share what you build, you need a host, such as Tiiny Host, which takes your build folder and gives you a live link.

How do I host a project I built in Cursor?

Build it, then upload the output. Run npm run build in Cursor's terminal, which creates a folder such as dist, build or out containing index.html. Zip the contents of that folder and drag the zip onto Tiiny Host. For a plain HTML project, zip the project folder with index.html at the top level and upload it.

How do I connect Tiiny Host to Cursor?

Search for Tiiny Host in Cursor's MCP directory, or add a server with the URL https://mcp.tiiny.host in Cursor's MCP settings. Once it's connected, ask the agent to publish your project with Tiiny Host. Our API docs have the full setup, including authentication.

Which frameworks work?

Anything that compiles to static files: React, Vue, Svelte, Astro, Angular and plain HTML. Next.js works as a static export with output set to export in next.config. Features that need a server while running, like API routes, server actions or a database, won't run on static hosting.

Why does my site work locally but not online?

If you've been using npm run dev, that's a development server, not something you can upload. Run npm run build and upload the output folder instead. Also check that index.html is at the top level of your zip, and that the build uses relative paths (base: './' in vite.config) if styles or scripts go missing.

Can I share work in progress with a client?

Yes. On Solo and above, add a password before you send the link. On Tiny and above, turn on feedback mode and your client can pin comments directly on the page, which you can paste back into Cursor for the next round.

Can I roll back if the agent breaks something?

Yes, on Tiny and above. Version history lets you roll the site back to an earlier upload while you ask the agent to fix the problem.

Can I host a Cursor project for free?

Yes, one at a time: the free plan hosts a single site up to 3 MB with 5,000 visits a month and a small Tiiny Host banner. Updates count as uploads, and the free and Tiny plans allow three a day, so if the agent republishes after every change, Solo's unlimited uploads (from $13 a month billed yearly) will suit you better.
