Name Server
A server that translates domain names into IP addresses through the Domain Name System (DNS), enabling browsers to locate and load websites properly.
A name server acts like the address book of the internet. It translates human-readable domain names into the numerical IP addresses that computers use to find each other. When someone types your website's name into a browser, the name server directs them to the correct location. Every domain has at least two name servers for backup and reliability. They're a crucial part of DNS and help ensure websites stay reachable at all times. Without them, domain names wouldn't work and the web would be a confusing network of numbers.
