DNS Propagation

The waiting period before global servers recognize domain changes, often taking hours for new DNS records to fully update worldwide.

DNS propagation is the waiting period after you change your domain settings, such as updating a record or pointing your domain to a new server. Those changes must spread across DNS servers worldwide before taking full effect. Depending on your setup, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours. During that time, some visitors may see your old site while others reach the new one. It's a normal part of how the internet updates itself. The best approach is patience, as DNS propagation simply needs time to sync everywhere.
